The Vision Score Gauntlet

If I raise my vision score, does my win percentage go up with it?

Vision is a stat coaches tell you to care about and every beginner ignores. The claim underneath that advice is that better vision wins games — so this challenge tests the claim rather than restating it. Ten games with warding treated as a primary objective, tracking vision score *and* win percentage, and the scoreboard read honestly at the end of each one. The two numbers can disagree, and that is the whole reason to film it: vision score is the thing the rules control, win percentage is the thing the rules are supposed to affect. Ten games is nowhere near enough to prove the second one, which has to be said on camera rather than buried. Mechanics worth knowing before filming (Season 2026 — check patch notes on record day, these shift): Control Wards cost 75 gold, reveals and disables enemy wards, life span is indefinite. Faelights are a 2026 addition — roughly 12 fixed vision hotspots around the river and base entrances, and a ward placed on one becomes a "superward": bigger radius, a 45-second bonus reveal, and extra vision score. Two things beginners might not know: control wards disable enemy wards so they are great for neutral objectives, and clearing enemy wards with a Sweeper/Oracle Lens counts toward vision score too — it is not only about placing.

The rules

  1. 01 Buy a Control Ward every single back — unless you already have one.
  2. 02 Ward every Faelight I pass if I have one available in my trinket slot.
  3. 03 Never let my trinket ward sit on cooldown unused.
  4. 04 Use a Sweeper/Oracle Lens to clear enemy wards whenever possible.
